Emotional message from the European Federation of Associations and Clubs for UNESCO
"Cultural education plays a decisive role in building the young European generation; It is key to developing a society based on communication, exchange ideas, values and tolerance. Museum - core research and reflection, on the one hand, and space for meetings and dialogue, on the other hand - it preserves vestiges, thus mediating public access to the immaterial dimension of culture. So, artistic values, spiritual and identity are broadcast in society, especially among young people. Beyond the scientific activities, European museums today must face new market challenges, as well as growing and diverse cultural requirements.
For these reasons it was achieved, Targoviste, "Romance House" Museum in 2017, at the 50th edition of the National Romance Festival "Golden Chrysanthemum".
The museum operates under the auspices of the European Federation of Associations and Clubs for UNESCO and has organized, with great success, high-profile cultural events, honoring the program «House of Romance, Embassy of Culture in Targoviste », initiated by the Cultural Center Association for UNESCO «Romance Fortress».
The artist Carmen Emanuela Popa donated the work «Romance» at the opening of this citadel of Romanian music, stating that “art develops emotional intelligence, an essential factor in the deep assimilation of education ».
On the occasion of International Museum Day, we remember with great pleasure the inauguration of this museum in the presence of the honorary president of the World Federation of Associations and Clubs for UNESCO, Mr George Christophides and Mrs Kim Nam Hee - President of IWGP and Nanyuma Keita Association. The round table entitled "Romance for UNESCO World Heritage" was attended by high-ranking guests., specialists in the field present at the festival, mebrii jury, interpreters, international stars. It should be noted that the official procedures for inscribing ROMANIAN ROMANCE on the list of Intangible Cultural Heritage of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, Science and Culture continues today, after the International Appeal for the Inclusion of Romance in the UNESCO World Heritage, Call signed by representatives of clubs in Europe and North America at the international conference "Youth and Museums" in 2018 ",
