Alumnus Club for UNESCO -

FUTUR FOLK – COSTUME ROYAL this a project initiated by Alumnus Club UNESCO – Romania, in collaboration with artistCarmen Emanuela Popa and organized with the support National Commissions for UNESCO of France and Romania, with ofmUNICIPALITY of Paris and Bucharest.

The exhibition will comprise a total of 30 works of conceptual fashion signed by Romanian designer and will be held in Hall district 1 din Paris, Place du Louvre 4, during 2 – 10 October 2019, opening official 2 October, the 15:00.

The entire project will be presented on an installation artist Cristian Todie, a compositional scheme of scaffold. The artist combines art and geometry and create new forms of non-figurative representation of concepts.

The main idea of the project Future Folk. Costume Royal refers to expanding the original concept future folk that gained an international dimension by interpreting traditional costume the different cultures, through contemporary design, the running across country (Palatul Parlamentului, Village Museum, Genpact Bucharest, ploiesti, Slobozia) and abroad (Beijing, Hefei – China). The current concept refers to a selection inspired French royal costume of the eighteenth century, in a tandem style graphic symbolism found in folk costumes and the Romanian national minority in the country. Taft volumes augmented will renew this segment of French history, which remains an inexhaustible source of inspiration for contemporary design. Dynamic objects Retorica fashion accents sportswear will highlight layout style neo-romantic.

Proposed visual designer duo Carmen Emanuela Popa homogenizing the two worlds, Franta and Romania, is a stylistic explosion using new techniques of contemporary art, symbolic juxtaposition of cultures seemingly antithetical elements, from the original line of clothes and placed on a new support urban visual accents. Materiality typehigh-tech compose a stylistic reverberation invasive migrating to areas conducive to a breakthrough multicultural dialogue and mutual recognition.

WHAT IS ALUMNUS ?

Alumnus Club for UNESCO is an organization created in the year 2000, that gathers for more than a decade and a half members from 10 countries.

Through its UNESCO affiliation, the Alumnus Club has access to an important network of information regarding the activities developed in domains such as education, science, culture and communication.

The main purpose of the organization is that of training young people in a multicultural manner, through projects that aim at involving them in activities that encourage their personal initiative and experience gaining.

In 15 years of activity, Alumnus Club for UNESCO has offered its members and the participants in its events the occasion to engage in educational, scientific, cultural and communication projects.
