Alumnus Club for UNESCO, organizaţie neguvernamentală înfiinţată in 2000, currently has representatives in 10 countries, has as members the vast majority, young, its purpose is to make available to its members as many ways to get involved in projects and initiatives included in education, science, Culture and Communication. Training young people in a humanistic spirit, multicultural, main goal of the organization, is pursued through projects aimed at involving them in activities that support personal and professional development by gaining experience.

To celebrate the 20 years of, National Museum Cotroceni was co-organizer and host project YOUTH AND MUSEUMS 2011. The event was under the auspices World Federation of the Romanian and Clubs, UNESCO Centres and Associations, was held in collaboration with Alumnus Club actions aimed at promoting the exchange of educational strategies and methods between the institutions participating in this, in order to develop joint programs in museums. So, project envisages the sustainable development of European youth awareness and respect for heritage values come- şi interregional, as a means of understanding and preservation of their national identity, spiritual and cultural. The project aims to answer the following questions:

Between 17-29 may 2011, UNESCOa organizat în colaborare cu Romanian Federation of Associations, UNESCO Clubs and Centres by Alumnus Club, Guvernul României- Departamentul pentru Relaţii Interetnice, in partnership with, Comisia Naţională a României pentruUNESCO and Muzeul Naţional Cotroceni, cea de-a Treia ediţie a proiectului Metamorphosis. Started in April 2009 de CATRA Clubul Alumnus pentru UNESCO, project aims at creating a space for young people to museum, dedicated European identity.
During the 12 days, Tinerii participant din Turkey, Romania, Greece, France, Serbia, Ukraine, Russian Federation, Republic of Moldova s-au întâlnit în Bucuresti cadrul února workshop-uri şi pe rotunda monthly themes de identitate Europeana, aimed central European city in the context of multiculturalism. At the invitation of UNESCO Center for Women and Peace in the Balkan Countries, UNESCO designated CNR 2 women in Romania participates as a representative to the Regional Seminar with the theme: "Gender Equality and the Media". The event took place during 27 November to 4 December 2011 in Thessaloniki Greece. It aimed to determine the active involvement of women in the process soofNational and expression in the media space in Romania and not only. The program addressed issues of gender among which:

– Role models in the media space
– UN policies adopted to promote gender equality
– The impact of economic and social transition of women in the media
– The role of media in promoting gender equality.

As from 2010, Rom Federationâtion of Clubs, Centres and Associations by Alumnus Club for UNESCO project collaborates on research studies on the restoration of national heritage objectives project is conducted under the prof. Kenichiro Hidaka of the University of Tsukuba Japan. Japanese team participated in roundtables at the headquarters National Commission Româwrath for UNESCO Romanian partners specialists , to the:
- Detailed and accurate notes of Murals damage;
- Notes on the degradation of buildings;
- Identify causes damage to buildings;
- Analysis of weather and environmental conditions to determine how these factors have influenced previous restorations and how they can influence the future.
The purpose of the first part of the project is to make detailed and accurate notes of Murals, notes on the degradation of buildings, identify the causes of deterioration and to gather all the visual and archival materials that relate to previous restorations.

CNR UNESCO, Comana Monastery, Romanian Federation of Associations, Centres and Clubs for UNESCO, Radu Serban and Cultural Centre for UNESCO Alumnus Club organized during 08-10 September 2011 the third edition of the symposium "Art and Civilization in Romanian monastic spaces. Cultural and natural heritage ", on the celebration of 550 documentary years Comana Monastery.
The official opening of the symposium was attended Reverend Ambrose, Bishop Giurgiului, Protos. Michael Muscariu, Comana Monastery, Daniela Popescu, President FRACCU, Of.
