Arges County Council, Museum of Viticulture and fruit Goleşti, in partnership with the National Commission for UNESCO, European Federation for UNESCO Clubs by Alumnus Club organized, during 07-09 July 2017, Museum Goleşti, ninth edition of the International Conference of UNESCO “YOUth and MUSEums”
The event was attended by President of the Arges County Council, and Manu, Mrs. Daniela Popescu, President of the European Federation of Associations, Cluburilor și Centrelor pentru UNESCO (EFUCA), by Prof.. univ. dr. Ioan Opris, the National Center for Research and Documnetare in museology "Radu Florescu" Bucharest, and specialists from museums, universități, research institutes in Romania and abroad and representatives of the Federation of UNESCO Clubs in Bulgaria, Italy şi Serbia.
The topics addressed at this international conference were very interesting:
- Conservation and restoration of heritage museum;
- Highlighting the heritage museum to educate the young generation.
In addition to thematic discussions, namely enhancement of the heritage museum, to educate the young generation about conservation and restoration of heritage museum, in the event, held two exhibitions:
- the Ethnography, held and temporary exhibition "Objects restored Heritage Museum Goleşti"
- the exhibition hall bolt, exhibition "a fairy tale", Malvinas artist belonging Mocenco.
Participants also made a brief foray into old Romanian village by visiting the Open Air Museum Goleşti, museum covers an area of about 10 ha and is made up of more than 35 of farms.
Saturday, participants received a Romanian cultural experience, participating in thematic trip in the city of Curtea de Arges where they participated in Days Medieval city and visited Curtea de Arges Curtea de Arges Monastery and the Royal Church.
