The project "Metamorphosis” created and implemented by the Alumnus Club for UNESCO, international project that annually proposes valuable themes, it was thought from the beginning as a tool for propagating humanist ideas, of valuing European civilization, but also of openness towards all humanity.
Based on a private collection of fish 300 of dolls in traditional costumes from around the world, Alumnus Club for UNESCO imagined the creation of a small museum in a commune in the surroundings of Brașov, to highlight the individualities of the various European regions, but also the general characteristics and emphasis of European culture in comparison and complementarity with traditional costumes from around the world.

Alumnus Club for UNESCO, decided to support the wish of the owner of the collection, member of our organization, to donate the dolls and the many small complementary items (furniture, household items, etc.) Ethnography Museum in Brașov, with the request that the ideals of the project "Metamorphosis” to be valued.
So, in 2022, the 14th edition of the project "Metamorphosis” was aimed at organizing the Urban Civilization museum in the building, section of the Brașov Ethnography Museum, of the exhibition "Toys, dolls and games”, where – in addition to toys – the "metamorphoses" of traditional European costumes compared to those of the whole world are presented, using dolls and objects from the recently donated collection.
