historical event, the significance of this anniversary edition, It was organized by City Hall and City Council Targoviste, Dâmboviţa County Council, Dambovita County Cultural Center, Theater "Tony Bulandra" Targoviste, under the patronage of the Romanian National Commission for UNESCO.
Alongside the traditional festival organizers, came this year the Ministry of Culture and National Identity, Composers and Musicologists Union of Romania, and the Musicians Union of Moldova, co-produced by TVR and in partnership with Radio Romania.

The contest of interpretation evolved 16 contestants selected from the 7 regional preselection, conducted during April-June 2016, with the expert jury, in Romania and Moldova.
