National Chamber Choir Madrigal, sellout concert in Brussels
Organized by the Romanian Embassy in Belgium and supported by the Federation of Associations, UNESCO Clubs and Centres in Europe and North America, led by Daniela Popescu, concert conducted by Anna Ungureanu was a success and ran sellout. Madrigal Choir joined in this concert, Soprana Soumaya Hallak şi harpista Alisée Frippiat. Madrigal Choir was founded in 1963 by the renowned conductor Marin Constantin, claiming far more than 4000 concert on the biggest stages in Europe, America and Asia. In 1992, after record over 40 discs and promoting art at the highest levels, choir was included on the UNESCO Heritage list. In the framework of the XXI International Festival “George Enescu” (2013), Madrigal choir received from the Federation of Associations, UNESCO Clubs and Centres in Europe and North America, in homage and recognition of entire activity, UNESCO Diploma and Trophy “50 years of excellence in universal musical heritage”.
