Club Romania for UNESCO, Alumnus Club and Elite Art Club UNESCO celebrated 8 March – International Women's Day, the exhibition of the painter Cristian Paraschiv “The Offense Report”.
Hosted during 5 March – 12 April 2018, Elite Art Gallery, exhibition "The Offense Report 'portrays the traumatic legacy of Communism.
Christian Paraschiv is a prominent representative of the 80s generation, being present in Romanian art, but also in the French one, starting with the year 1986.
On the occasion of this exhibition, the artist returns to the country, at the same time supporting the present artistic endeavor aimed at remembering and marking his final departure from Romania. The plastic representation of his and his family's exile brings into question the rift produced at the moment of departure and includes a final gesture by the communist authorities at Otopeni Airport, that of confiscating works and objects of deep significance to family intimacy and emotional ties to these objects. In the exhibition we find two minutes of their confiscation, among which is his daughter's christening spoon, jewelry etc.

Christian Paraschiv combines traditional techniques with innovative ones, something that underlines the experimental nature of his art. The exhibition brings to the public's attention a series of works made in mixed technique (acrylic on canvas, transfer to canvas, textile and acetate collage, acetate and gold leaf) in which the artist tries to represent the erasure of memory.
