Thursday, 31 may 2018, PARTICIPATION IN THE 7TH PETRE OPREA SYMPOSIUM, PARTICIPATION IN THE 7TH PETRE OPREA SYMPOSIUM, PARTICIPATION IN THE 7TH PETRE OPREA SYMPOSIUM, PARTICIPATION IN THE 7TH PETRE OPREA SYMPOSIUM, PARTICIPATION IN THE 7TH PETRE OPREA SYMPOSIUM, PARTICIPATION IN THE 7TH PETRE OPREA SYMPOSIUM, the volume was released Women's Civic Power. As stated by the coordinator of the volume Andreea Paul, this a book-manifesto that gathers together 100 of stories of women from Romania who, through civic engagement, change this country for the better, making it more bearable and even more beautiful.

Sunt 100 of tell, improperly so called, which illustrates the hard work put in by these heroines, in one field or another, over many days and nights, for the Romanian society to evolve, to face, on the go, the radical changes that have taken place, to apply new rules imposed by the membership status of the European Union. It's an impressive collection of history which illustrates the civic involvement of Romanian women in various fields of activity: social, educational, sport, health, art and culture, science, research. The activity carried out in Romania for the application of UNESCO principles related to education, science and culture could not be left out of this volume. The story of Daniela Popescu is also presented in the book, President of the ALUMNUS Club for UNESCO.

Daniela Popescu, president of the European Federation of Associations, Cluburilor și Centrelor pentru UNESCO (FEACU), president of the Alumnus Club for UNESCO and expert of the National Commission of Romania for UNESCO: „In December 2016, let Minsk, I was reinvested in the position of FEACU president, giving me the opportunity to connect the European horizons to the other regions of the world through education, science and culture. At the foundation of this construction is over 20 of years of work at all levels of representation. The fact that UNESCO policies pay special attention to the status of women in the world inspired me to organize the first UNESCO Academy of Young Women, to Bucharest, in 2017. De ce? Because women have a great capacity for empathy, of work, they are creative and put soul into everything they do. For a woman to succeed in a battle in which only men competed until recently, she must practice high standards of social activism. He must dare, to have courage, to get involved, to know their potential well, the value and, of course, to claim in measure because excess modesty can sometimes be harmful.
