Monday, 16 July 2018 Official Internship Program started by the Romanian Government, 2018, Participation in the Official Internship Program of the Romanian Government. Participation in the Official Internship Program of the Romanian Government 200 Participation in the Official Internship Program of the Romanian Government 45 Participation in the Official Internship Program of the Romanian Government. Both this year's interns and alumni of the program from previous years participated in the celebration. The opening speech belonged to Mrs. Prime Minister Viorica Dăncilă who appreciated the effort made by both the organizing team, as well as the young participants: "I'm glad that in the Centenary year we managed to unite young graduates through this program, young students from 45 of universities from the country and abroad, that we managed to bring home those from universities in Great Britain, France, Italy and China. I want you to take advantage of this opening and look inside how things work, how the documents are made, the laws, what is their circuit.”

In the internship program those 200 of young internals will have the opportunity to observe how the central public administration works both within the Government, of ministries as well as within other state agencies and institutions.

Two interns were admitted to the National Commission of Romania for UNESCO: Alexandra Timofte and Răzvan Curcă. Alexandra graduated in the year 2016 International Relations and European Studies at "Alexandru Ioan Cuza" University in Iasi and in the year 2018 Master of Security and Diplomacy at SNSPA, Bucharest. Răzvan is a sixth-year student at the Faculty of Dental Medicine, UMF "Grigore T. Popa”, Science.

Ms. Daniela Popescu participated on behalf of the Alumnus Club for UNESCO, president of the Alumnus Club for UNESCO and expert of the National Commission of Romania for UNESCO.

WHAT IS ALUMNUS ?

Alumnus Club is an organization created in the year 2000, that gathers for more than a decade and a half members from 10 countries.
Alumnus Club is part of the Romanian federation of UNESCO Associations and Clubs, and implicitly of the World and European Federations for UNESCO. The club is formed mainly by young students, and its aim is to offer its members the opportunity to get involved in projects aimed at developing their experience in the selected field of study.
Through its UNESCO affiliation, the Alumnus Club has access to an important network of information regarding the activities developed in domains such as education, science, culture and communication.
The main purpose of the organization is that of training young people in a multicultural manner, through projects that aim at involving them in activities that encourage their personal initiative and experience gaining.
In 25 years of activity, Alumnus Club has offered its members and the participants in its events the occasion to engage in educational, scientific, cultural and communication projects.
Below, you may find a non exhaustive list of annual events: Metamorphoses, Youth and Museums, Art and Civilization in Monastic Spaces, Magellan and the new project developed under the auspices of the Alliance of Civilizations: Bucharest retrieved, the concerts of the National Chamber Choir Madrigal.

ALUMNUS Club was founded in 2000 and consists of young people across the 10 countries.
The Alumnus Club is part of the Romanian Federation of Associations and Clubs for UNESCO.
The club wants to offer its members opportunities to become involved in educational projects, Scientific, cultural and communication.
ALUMNUS Club aims to prepare young people in a multicultural spirit and to involve them in activities that help them in personal and professional development.
