PERIMETER topic - EXHIBITION IN PUBLIC SPACE
Friday, 6 July, starting at 18:30, Square United Nations will be the closing event of the project perimeter Subjectively, an exhibition in the public space, in which we present the main results of the project.
Perimeter subject started 4 months out of a need to answer some natural questions related to urban public space. How a space that we cross daily transforms over time? In what ways do we care?, in what ways we attach ourselves to it, what needs we expect them to respond to? What we take for granted and what we leave our mark on? How do we make it more ours??
The path followed was one based on the collection of stories and personal impressions, of people who live in or transit the United Nations Square every day. Together with them we launched into a series of creative processes of revealing or rediscovering the identity of the area and the community.
We tried to observe more carefully, to be more present, let's turn the everyday natural on all sides, to understand how we can contribute to the formation of a community, to pass the relationship we have with the urban space through as many artistic filters as possible.
We are waiting for you with:
- Illustrations and murals by Sorina Vazelina and Dan Michiu
- Stories collected by Andrada Lăutaru and Alexandra Voivozeanu
- Photographic forays into the past
- Free space for your visual and written interventions
