Minorități, culture, goodies " – Project Metamorfoze” la a opta ediție

ALUMNUS CLUB for UNESCO and the National Commission of Romania for UNESCO organized, cu sprijinul financiar al Departamentului pentru Relații Interetnice din cadrul Guvernului României, cea de-a opta ediție a proiectului „Metamorfoze”, cu tema: „Minorități, culture, goodies ".

The event took place in Iasi, during 04 – 09 October 2016, și a avut ca obiectiv specific încurajarea modalităților de integrare culturală prin activități derulate într-un spațiu comun, through direct interaction between representatives of minority organizations in Romania.

The activities aimed at strengthening intercultural communication through the knowledge of traditional gastronomy, a unor obiceiuri de toamnă ale minoritatilor și prin activități creative comune, cum ar fi incondeiatul oualelor, propus de reprezentanta minorității ucrainene. Au raspuns invitatiei mai multi reprezentanti ai minorităților: romă, ucraineană, a rușilor lipoveni, elenă, italiană, bulgară, turcă, tătară, poloneză, sârbă, armeană, maghiară, evreiască și germană.

A series of workshops were organized in which the participants prepared traditional dishes, minority in coming. The recipes of the respective dishes will be part of an online cookbook prepared by the Cygnus publishing house in Suceava.

Round tables, la care au fost invitati specialisti în domeniul cultural, they had as their theme the UNESCO issue regarding minorities and the current global priorities of this forum, într-o perioadă în care România celebrează 60 for years since it has been a member state of UNESCO. O expozitie cu documente UNESCO a fost amplasata in holul hotelului, where the project took place. A medallion was also prepared Niculae Mircovici – In memoriam by the representatives of the Bulgarian minority, thus honoring the memory of the one who was until a few days ago the representative of the Bulgarian Union from Banat in the Romanian Parliament.

Saturday night, la închiderea evenimentului, ansamblul de dansuri al minorității elene din Iași a invitat pe toti participanții să învețe să danseze grecește la restaurantul Majestic, where the whole project took place. Vizitele la muzeele din Iasi, alaturi de celelalte evenimente, au intregit un program complex, bazat pe consolidarea respectului reciproc, cultivarea mândriei față de propria identitate, a sentimentului de apartenență la cultura României și a Europei.

WHAT IS ALUMNUS ?

Alumnus Club is an organization created in the year 2000, that gathers for more than a decade and a half members from 10 countries.
Alumnus Club is part of the Romanian federation of UNESCO Associations and Clubs, and implicitly of the World and European Federations for UNESCO. The club is formed mainly by young students, and its aim is to offer its members the opportunity to get involved in projects aimed at developing their experience in the selected field of study.
Through its UNESCO affiliation, the Alumnus Club has access to an important network of information regarding the activities developed in domains such as education, science, culture and communication.
The main purpose of the organization is that of training young people in a multicultural manner, through projects that aim at involving them in activities that encourage their personal initiative and experience gaining.
In 25 years of activity, Alumnus Club has offered its members and the participants in its events the occasion to engage in educational, scientific, cultural and communication projects.
Below, you may find a non exhaustive list of annual events: Metamorphoses, Youth and Museums, Art and Civilization in Monastic Spaces, Magellan and the new project developed under the auspices of the Alliance of Civilizations: Bucharest retrieved, the concerts of the National Chamber Choir Madrigal.

ALUMNUS Club was founded in 2000 and consists of young people across the 10 countries.

The club wants to offer its members opportunities to become involved in educational projects, Scientific, cultural and communication.
ALUMNUS Club aims to prepare young people in a multicultural spirit and to involve them in activities that help them in personal and professional development.
